Having trouble getting your photos approved on Eros?
All of a sudden photos that were ok are no longer being accepted and now your ad is down.
What's going on with Eros and the new photos rules that are being imposed?
Is it the pose? ........maybe
Is it the outfit?............most likely
Is topless no longer accepted on Eros? ........Topless is not the problem and it's still ok.
So what's causing this?
Why are so many photos being rejected?
In July of 2018: Trump signed into law Fosta-Sesta
with the intention of cutting down online sex work especially what was going on in Backpage.com -----Read my post on FOSTA click here.
After the big crackdown, in order to protect themselves, Eros started taking down ads that used photos that they deemed no longer acceptable because they believe that those photos are being used to advertise sex.
Now, a providers' adds are being taken down without any prior notice. Previously approved photos and ads that would have never been any problem are not being rejected.
The worst part is that there isn't any clear cut set of rules on what type of photos are accepted and which kind of photos are not.
And, I know that if you look at the photos in adds right now, you will find plenty of photos that seem like they should not be allowed.
Perhaps the new photo rules are just not being applied evenly, or is it that they have not gotten to you yet?
Together with lots of trial-and-error with many shoots, and after hearing back from customer service from someone from Eros, I have put together the below general rules for photos and videos.
These guidelines are what have been working for me and my photoshoots, but nothing I post here is to be taken as legal advice or any guarantee.
So, what Type of Photos are NOT allowed on Eros Anymore?
No Companion's Website or email address anywhere on the photo or video. No provider's name with XXX in it or any name that implies you are selling sex. No wording in your ad that can be interpreted as selling sex.
Small photographer logo is still ok as long as it does not include his/her contact info.
Not Allowed: Implied Bottomless:
Photos where the girl is removing her panties, or they are partially off or where she's not wearing any panties at all even if nothing is showing. Examples:
No Thin Bikini/Panty Side Straps:
No string bikinis or narrow straps that from the side almost disappear. It has to be very clear that you are wearing panties or a bikini bottom. Example:
No Sheer or Semi-Transparent Panties:
The entire pubic area needs to cover, and the material has to be completely solid even if nothing can be seen. Examples:
No Small Panties/Bikini Bottom:
The entire crotch and pubic area including each of the groins has to be covered even if nothing is being seen. Examples:
No Camel Toes:
The genitals cannot be outlined even if not visible, and the material can not even appeal to suggest a camel toe. Examples:
No Focus on the Panty Area:
The main focus of the photo cannot be the genital area even if completely covered or take up most of the photo. Example:
No Fetishes and Illegal Themes:
No real or fantasy that the person in the photo is under 18 years of age. Example:
Hands can not be in the pubic area. Examples:
No Sex Toys:
Nothing that is phallic shaped in the photo.
No Real or Simulated Pain, Torture, or and facial Expression that Simulates it.
No Photo of Illegal Activity of any Kind.
No Violence of any Kind real or simulated including role playing Domination, Humiliation, or S&M.
Photo Cannot be Altered:
The unapproved parts of the photo cannot be blurred or photoshopped to try to cover the unapproved areas.
The more your photos are rejected harder it is to have photos approved, and if you think the photo might not be approved don't risk it.
ALL THE PHOTOS ABOVE IN THIS POST VIOLATE THE PHOTO POLICY IN ONE OR SEVERAL WAYS, AND ARE EXAMPLES OF PHOTOS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN APPROVED OR WOULD NOT BE APPROVED BY EROS.
Now that you know the new photo policy you can schedule a new shoot, and I will work within these guidelines to make sure that your photos are all approved and that your ad is up and running.
